to help bring unity in the body of Christ. This was
an important part of Jesus’ last prayer before
Calvary. |

John
17:21 “that
all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me
and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the
world may believe that you sent me.” |
|
We Christians make it difficult
for the world to accept Christ when we allow the focus
of non-essentials to divide us. |
|
As
Jesus said in Mark
3:25, “If a house
is divided against itself, that house cannot stand.”
|
|
We need to show the love to
each other and to the world that God our Father has
shown us through the gift of Jesus. |
|
John
3:16 "For
God so loved the world, that He gave His only begotton
Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish,
but have everlasting life." |
| When
we keep our eyes and hearts focused on Jesus and lift
Him up as our Redeemer and personal Savior, our house
will truly be in one accord. The Body of Christ will
be the example our Father wants us to be! The world
will then know that God our Heavenly Father sent Jesus. |
