“Doers of the Word” television program is sponsored by Jesus Alive and has it’s foundation in the book of James. Specifically, James 1:22-25 where God’s word tells us to be “doers of the word” and not just “hearers of the word”.

Our program has been aired on six cable networks throughout New York City and Long Island for the past three years reaching over four million homes each week. Jesus Alive founders Gus and Gloria Schuck host this program that helps bring the body of Christ together.

You will hear from Ministries and individual Christians that feed, clothe and provide shelter to the poor and homeless and others who minister hope and healing to the wounded and broken hearted through Prison Visitation Outreaches and Evangelism. James 1: 22-25

22: Keep on being doers of the word, and not merely hearers who deceive themselves.

23: For if anyone is a hearer of the word and not a doer, he is like a man who looks at himself in a mirror.

24: For he studies himself carefully and then goes off and immediately forgets what he looks like.

25: But the one who looks at the perfect law of freedom and remains committed to it, thus proving that he is not a forgetful hearer but a doer of what it requires, will be blessed in what he does.
